The Women’s College Research Institute: New Research
Officially launched in fall 2006, Women’s College Research Institute (WCRI) unites all of the researchers and research programs based at Women’s College Hospital including those formerly affiliated with the Centre for Research in Women’s Health, supplying the necessary infrastructure to support all of our research endeavours.

The Institute has five strategic goals:
  • Creating a research-intensive culture at the Women’s College Hospital
  • Integrating research in women’s health from cell to society
  • Evaluating and disseminating innovative ambulatory approaches to clinical care
  • Fostering the next generation of women’s health researchers
  • Being the benchmark for integration of research and knowledge exchange in women’s health
WCRI is dedicated to integrating research into clinical practice at Women's College Hospital to produce outstanding clinical services for women and their families.

The Institute strives to:
  • Create new research knowledge by supporting research programs in key women's health areas and by working with clinicians to develop and evaluate innovative services
  • Facilitate advances in women's health by connecting researchers, students and clinicians across research disciplines
  • Share research knowledge with clinicians, policy makers and the public to insure that research knowledge improves women's lives.
