Warm Weather & Migraines
We’re all looking forward to the warmer days ahead, but for migraine sufferers, warm weather trigger the pain and nausea of migraines. At this time of year, many sufferers mistake their migraines for springtime allergies or sinus headaches. Dr. Christine Lay, Director of the new Women’s College Hospital Centre for Headache, was recently interviewed on CTV News about the challenges that warmer temperatures can bring for some, as well as the importance of proper diagnosis and treatment.
